Biography

Lori Kropfelder has been a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 1996. She graduated from the University of Maryland School of Nursing with honors in 1989 and started working as an RN at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. She specialized in complex renal and urological problems as well as kidney transplantation. In 1993, she began working at Kaiser Permanente in Washington, DC. In this position, she provided family centered nursing care and developed a case management program for pediatric asthma. Lori received her master’s degree in 1996 from University of Maryland School of Nursing. She began working as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Kaiser Permanente, Temple Hills, MD for 4 years. Here she provided complete medical care to an inner city population. Currently, she has been a CPNP at Liberty Pediatrics in Eldersburg, MD since October 2010. She specializes in the comprehensive care of infants, children, and adolescents with special interest in education and prevention.
