Biography

Sherry Dulling grew up one of 7 children in a small rural town in southeastern North Carolina on a 56,000 acre state forest. She obtained her BS in Nursing from the University of NC at Chapel Hill in 1984. She has worked in multiple nursing disciplines for over 30 years with the most concentrated in emergency room nursing and critical care for both adults and children. She was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army Reserve in 1984 and served for 8 years in an Army Field Hospital both in the United States and Germany. She has been married to her husband Jim for 34 and counting years. They have 3 adult children (older son and boy/girl twins) and she is the proud Nana to Cooper, my first (and hopefully counting!) grandson. She returned to graduate school at Georgetown University in 2015 and obtained her Masters Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is currently working in primary care for patients throughout the lifespan. A fabulous transition from acute care!

She enjoys family and friend time, horseback riding, biking, hiking, reading, medical missions and church activities.
